I know exactly how you freaking feel. I have my motherboard CPU combo on the truck for delivery right now. I have been without a PC for over a week now due to it frying and I am about to go crazy. My apartment complex office however can sign for it when you leave a note at the door. 5 more hours....

Well I went home for lunch and low and behold, fedex arrives. I got it half installed right now. I am amazed at my self restraint. I actually came back to work!!! (though I plan on sneaking out an hour early hehehe). Man my nerves are fried, I just want to get up and go! 2 more hours...

LOL!!!

I get stuff delivered to the office. Easier on everyone that way. My packages don't miss me, and I don't miss work.

I'm in the same boat. My CMStacker case is actually sitting right next to me and the BFG 6800GTOC is on my desk. The GA-K8NXP-SLI, 3500+ Winchester, and the other goodies are at home.

Only one more hour....

Haha, I know how everyone feels. My friends, family, and nearby classmates always know when I am getting something new. Either I've talked about it to them in the past or I am just more hyper than usual. (Yes, I'm a very energetic person in the first place...) :p

At any rate, enjoy your new rig man! Sounds pretty sexy to me...but don't let my girlfriend know that. She may get jealous! :D

Well, you can look at it this way. If you didn't have a job to be "stuck" at, you probably would not be buying all of these nice little toys to play with. So, to be positive about it, be glad you are stuck at work. :)

10 more minutes and I'm headed home. Hopefully I'll be on the boards tonight from my new PC. And so begins my quest of OC'ing....

I can't believe how sweet this system ended up being!!!

Out of all my upgrades in the past this one is the most "noticeable."

To all the people out there that are hemming and hawing over $400+ for a video card....

"It's worth it."

The 3000+ coupled with PC4000 make a great combo I couldn't believe how much OC room there was. I got that sucker up to 2.6GHz before I started to see some probs.

The nForce4 nTune program is pretty sweet too. Only thing is that the profiles always locked up the system when I tried to apply them as windows started. I just ended up tweaking in the bios anyhow.

I probably rebooted about 300 times this weekend.

22,000+ on 3DMark 2001
11,500+ on 3DMark 2003
Can't remember the 2005 score.

P4 2.4B
Radeon 9700pro
512mb ram
Abit IT7 Max 2.0

Not a bad system but wasn't enough to really play the new games in all their glory.

You have the same exact scores I have with the same system. Except I have my Winchester at 2.4, not 2.6 and I have a A8V Deluxe Rev.2 and not a SLI. So im sure that will change if you ever decide to run SLI.
