Why am I only getting 1800ish blocks per day?

I have a 1.5GHz Tbird [5.07 Mkeys/s] & a P3 500 [1.35 Mkeys/s] cracking RC5 24/7.

Here is my .ini file:

<< [parameters]
id=slugbug@cox-internet.com

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,OGR=0

[rc5]
randomprefix=49
>>

I do not run OGL/D3D screensavers. What's the problem?

That is not bad john, you might squeeze a few more out of it but not a whole lot. My birds will usually crank out 1400 blocks per day each. depending on what other apps I get into that day.

You should be getting 2000 blocks a day with them both going full steam 24/7, if d.net is cutting you short 200 blocks a day well then that's about normal:(.

You're getting 90% of what you should be, the other 10% is up to what you do with the machines.

I use my Tbird a lot throughout the day. I guess that's where the extra loss is. Thanks.

I don't know if you have a similar setting on your KK266 but setting my A7V133 to optimal rather than normal system performance in the bios gained 200kkeys/s extra for my 1.12GHz Tbird. I don't know why since I thought that this only influenced memory timing and 4-way interleaving and I was under the impression that this would have no effect on rc5.
