Declare war on Hamas. Go after them with as much resolve as we did Osama, Saddam, and Hitler. They have as much declared war against us, albeit they target innocent Isrealis because they haven't got the guts to face us or the Isreali army face to face.

Your right, but this should pretty much put to rest that Isreal is the bad guy over there. They have already offered to make large concessions to get the peace process started(again).

What concessions? We still don't know if Sharon is serious. He has offerred to dismantle 15 outposts? Which generally consist of a few caravans, a generator, and some soldiers. This is nothing. The seige is still in place, nothing has changed on either side.

Besides, Hamas isn't the only extremist group against this plan.

edit: this number was reported as 40,000 in the Jerusalem Post, but that site is membership required.

Thier are plenty of bad guys over there. Remember what happened to Rabin?

Sharon has already mades statements about a contigious country for palestien, dismantlement of settlements which has been against the wishes of many in his party. These concessions have been made before even going to the bargaining table. You may see this as only a small step in the right direction, but it is better than step down the same beaten dead end path.

In the middle east, there are no clean hands. Not arabs, not Americans, not Isrealis, we just happen to have less bloodier hands. The Israelies have done their fair share of atrocities, too bad most of the time you hear on the American new are about suicide bombings.

You never hear about buildings being bulldozed by Israeli's while children are still in them, yes this stuff does go on.

I will give credit where it's due to Sharon, who broke ranks with his party to work for peace and to the new prime minister of Palestinians who broke ranks to finally compromise. I also applaud Bush for pushing this plan, and to Tony Blair who pushed Bush along.
