because i went fishing and it was so BUGGY that i gave up and came home. 🙁
why just when our weather is getting nice to the damn chiggers, mosquitoes, and blackflies have to come out and follow me around like i'm a delicacy?

Sorry. Tried to kidnap moshquerade but it didn't work. All I got was this thread.

I've spent most of the last week out in the sun with almost no insects, except the occasional fly. Rather red now 🙁
 
I went rock picking the other day and found out I have about at least 10 spider bites if not more. They itch like mad.

That's one thing I don't miss at all about New York...black flies and mosquitos.

I was in Palm Springs last weekend and it was 90 degrees with 20% humidity. We get humidity in the 60-70% range along the coast but we still don't have bugs like you have back east. Primarily because it doesn't rain here between May and October.
