we have a little home network set up, including two desktops, and one wireless laptop, all running windowx XP home, and all connected to a linksys router (the desktops connected via ethernet, and the laptop is wireless).
My problem is the consisetncy of the network with attention to the wireless connction. The laptop will never transfer large files successfuly to or from a desktop. And just tonight, i tried to watch a movie on my laoptop that was stored on a deskop, and it would play for about 10 minutes then an error message woudl come up, saying something about no network path. What is going on here? why does my laptop keep disconnecing? One thing that is odd, is that the internet on the laptop is quite consistent, is is just acceing stuff on the local network that is so sketchy. thanks for any help.
