I was trying my fop38 on the fan header of the kt7a, and all of a sudden I can't boot. the fan is spinning but I get a bios check sum error.. so I put the rig back to the way it was with a smaller 60mm on the fan1 header and still the same thing. my system was rock solid before messing with the fan. was using 150x8 for a 1ghz tbird, if I lower the setting to 7.5x145 I get windows errors, I don't understand this, all these settings were rock solid before. I pulled out my ram dims and tried 1 at a time, tried reseating the proc, even flashed the bios. this chip was unlocked with conductive pen by compuwiz so I don't think that is the problem. damn!!! any ideas?

I was told to have my FOP38 on the power supply directly, not plugged in to the mobo bc it drains too much. Try reseating the RAM

Definitely DON'T connect the FOP38's Delta fan to the motherboard!! It draws waaayyyy too much voltage and can damage the board. You should try to reset FSB, Memory, and voltage settings to default/normal and see if it's fine. If not and there weren't any other changes to the board or devices other than the FOP connection, then you may have damaged the boards voltage regulators.
