Why am I forced to logon after installing .net framework?

Just installed the .net framework, now it seems that I have to logon everytime into windows which is unnecessary because I am the only user.

I went to the user settings in the control panel, but it seems that I can only change between a welcome screen(click icon to login), or a logon screen(enter login and password), but all I want to do is let the machine boot straight into windows without all this login stuff. I can't find an option that will let me do just that.

Any ideas?

The .net framework adds a password-protected Limited Account named "ASP.NET Machine A..." which is why you get the login screen. You can see it via Control Panel - User Accounts.

As Compddd noted, go to Run, type in "control userpasswords2" (no quotes) and uncheck the box that reads "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer".
