Think about it -- if the US narrows it down to one particular person, taking that person out will not solve our problems -- instead, all the people associated with the person will have a martyr to follow -- A religious war might even ensue due to the fall of their great leader.

Now, that's assuming the whole deal has been perpretrated by a fundamentalist / religious group.

Anywho, it's because of that that the US will either have to do very little in terms of retaliation, or go all out, 100%, full scale destruction. Why? So that there is very little chance of any kind of large-scale or relatiation-retaliation occurring.

I must admit, this is my greatest fear. We very well may be talking about a total and complete anihiliation (sp?) of the Middle East to finish this. Killing Bin Laden is sure to bring with it even more people following in his footsteps.
