I'm making the move from AGP to PCIe and going with the X800PRO..

What is supposed to be the difference ( if any ) between all these models that are priced from $189 - $240 .. ( I'm not considering the refurbs )

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi...=0&minPrice=&maxPrice=&Go.x=13&Go.y=32

I understand you usually pay more for VIVO, but that doesn't seem to always apply..

I think the ' L ' on then end of the Saphire models means ' Limited ', but don't see any diff in the specs..

I'm thinking about settling on the SAPPHIRE 100127L Retail ( with VIVO ) at $192 ..

Is there anything I should know about the SAPPHIRE 100600L-Red Radeon for $7 more..

Just wondering if anyone knows why all the diff models.. The Saphire site doesn't have any info..

Thanks..

Don't even bother with the pro. Get the Sapphire x800gto2. It unlocks to x850xt speeds at ~$200.

The only differences are brands, bundle and in the case of say the ASUS card, VIVO capability. Basically, the X800Pro VIVO has a better chance to mod to X800XT PE than the non-VIVO edition.

And yeah, forget about the X800Pro . . . it's built on an older R420 core, the GTO2 with the R480 is much better and 100% unlockeable.
