Why Al Sharpton Should have been President

A while ago i had a dream that Al Sharpton was President. Al Sharpton? Yes, and it was great. No only was he: A person that some think is an idiot or a fraud that has no political know how or policy knowledge whatsoever - President. Be he was the "First black president.!" (Double Whammy!) Now since everyone in the other appointed positions thought shyt of his skills in office the carefully and closely watched everything that he did, said or signed. He barely got to speak on his own because they thought he would screw something up. He was unable to cut OR raise taxes......he was uanble to modify or amend the constitution in any way shape or form..... He couldnt pass any new or "special interest bills" or laws in the US. No big budget chagnes, no nothing! WHY? Cause he was al Sharpton; the first black president , people knew that he thought nothing of forieng policy and really didnt know how to handle it. War in Iraq and soon Iran/Syria/NK - HA HA not with Al Sharpton, The public almost lynched Al when he brought that to the table. Huge tax cuts for the rich - yeah right, there was public outrage. He couldnt really do anything because he was al and thats how the story went and anything he did do was watched so closely by public/media/officials that it was made sure that he did things perfecto. It was liek a reality TV show with cameras in the oval office bathroom and everything! Ahh it was great, but that got me thinking, there are so many things that people dont agree with in this admin, what if AL Sharpton was President? Slick hair, purple suit in all? Would we let these things fly? If we elected someone from the independent or reen party - dont you think that they would be watched under a microscope so close that they would do everythign without a flaw and in full view of the public? I think what we need now is some stability and groth and NOT radical chang in policy/law/budget. - If SS is broke then fix it. You dont take a car to the junk yard case the tire is missing - No, you fix the tire. Any thoughts on people that run solo such as Nader - i would love to see Nader in office. I bet he wouldnt get away with no bid contracts to his friends... or all the other stuff the "Libs" are complainin about. well just a dream any comments.

I took a political quiz early in the last election cycle, and my views corresponded most closely with Sharpton's. I realize that Sharpton has some crazy stuff in his past (Tawana Brawley being the most obvious example), but having heard him in a few of the Democratic primary debates, he was the most forthright of all the Democratic hopefuls. And he made a lot of sense. Sure, he had no hope of winning, and therefore nothing to lose in being honest, but I'll bet he would have made a hell of a lot better President than Dubya (gee, come to think of it, my cat would have made a better President than Dubya).

got to love brother Al. not only a top stand up comic, but a man with a world of common sense. and makes a damm good living off the bleading heart lib politicians from the north.
GO AL!

Fundies would love the Rev bit.
And the guy is a real forward thinker, never happen though while I am alive. 🙁

Al Sharpton would have gone over and pimpslapped saddam himself instead of having to send "The Man".
(and he knows who has to fight "The Man's" wars everytime suburban white america gets scared about the boogeymen.)

I too was most politically aligned with Al Sharpton when I took a test which included all presidential candidates. I think it would be beneficial to minorities to see someone of color in power as a role model outside of all the materialistic and shallow rappers etc... that the media spoonfeeds poor people and minorities.
