WHS won't backup computers

I can't get my WHS to backup any of my computers. The problems seems to be in WHS and not some sort of connectivity problem. I get an error saying that it can't read or write to some .dat file. So how do I go about repairing the damaged file? A couple weeks ago I ran out of storage but I have added another drive and added it to the pool and it says that it is healthy. So I am pretty much SOL for the short run. I have been using the remote console. Are there any repair features that can only be accessed from the server OS?

Delete a couple of backups and then run the backup cleanup. Hopefully that will kick WHS in to doing any balancing and DAT file creation it needs to do.

Yikes.😱 Short of deleting the entire backup DB, I don't know what to do.

It looks like that is what I am going to have to do. WHS is not very error tolerant. The funny thing is I can access the backups that completed.
