WHS file conflicts

I have been experiencing file conflicts on my WHS machine for the second time, and I've been doing some research into it. So

The best link I've found thus far is this one. Most searches turn up results relating to PP1.

Windows Home Server proactively checks the health of all files stored in shared folders during a migration pass. If any issues are discovered, a yellow health notification is sent that contains a detailed conflict reason for each file.
source link. Well that's a crock, as I have yet to receive any further information about any file conflict I have had yet. :|

Time to install the Database Backup Add-On, just in case.

Thanks for the post.

One surprise I had recently is that WHS will AUTOMATICALLY install PP1 if you have the "Automatic Updates" option turned on in WHS. I guess MS did it because of the data corruption issue. Otherwise, I'd expect a "Power Pack" to be an optional update. Especially so early in its life.

I was going to rebuild my WHS Server and start with PP1. Guess I'll use RTM instead, because RTM hasn't caused me any problems so far.

My OEM copy is on the way and I have a feeling it's going to include PP1, should I wait to put any data on this machine?
