Whow..Old ABIT BM6 question...remember those?

trying to bring one up to a little work. this is the deal. when i fire it up it reposts endlessly. i've got win2k on the harddrive i want to use. it gets to the point where the flash bar on win2k sweeps across the screen, then the computer restarts. i've updated the bios and cleared the cmos. i've tried six known good sticks of memory. changed cpu fans. changed boxes, etc. any suggestions?

Are you booting with just the video card installed? Or do you have modem, NIC, soundcard installed also?

booting w/video, memory, cpu. all seems fine. put the hd on though and it just rotates the posts. the hd is fine. i've used it on other systems recently w/o any problems.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but is this a Win2K build from another system on the HDD?
