It's fvcking freezing in here! It's like 95º outside. Thank god I don't have to pay for utilities. Putting it down this low probably costs several hundred dollars. Stupid roomates!

well, doesn't one word just make the whole difference -- if you didn't include "roommates" i might have thought it was me at the office

if you complain about that you are just too inactive to generate enough body heat

Uh, or you don't have enough blubber to insulate you...

Funny what annoys us. I had a small family from hurricane katrina staying with me for about 14 days. The guy would get up in the night and crank the 'stat down to 68.

It became an issue after a few days.

They are home now.

SAME.

I usually keep mine at 67-68 degrees in the summer.

Then again its my house and my bills and the comfort is worth it to me.

My coworker sets it to 66 degrees because she is overweight. What's even worse is we have extra vents in the office due to her request. Feels like fvcking Siberia.

When I lived up in New England, cold whether was so natural for me. I wore shorts all the time even in the Winter when I first moved to Houston. Now anything below 80 degrees feels cold to me. <sigh>

**EDIT**
Biking all the time in the sumer and winter has really changed my resistance to heat.

I try to tolerate the AC as warm as I can, but I find myself setting it to 74 or less.
In the winter I ususally set my heat to 58. 58 is a bit chilly, but it's still pretty comfortable most of the time.

I like it around 75 just to dry the air a bit and to maintain the summer feel. Well it's no longer summer but too much AC gives me a headache.

in the summer, my thermostat is at about 75-78, in the winter, i hardly ever use the furnace. i can get a way better overclock that way. i cant wait till winter when i can give my cpu that extra 100mhz.
