Rumor has it that Intel's going to be including a 10G MAC in future server chipsets. Future might mean this summer / Haswell generation.
I'm very happy to see 10G moving down a price tier.
Beware: the 8/12 port models appear to use Netgear's Windows-based config utility. I have had extremely bad experiences with that program and would strongly recommend against any switch that requires it.
That said, Netgear's getting the chipset from somebody, and others can buy the same, so there will likely be more of these coming out this year from other vendors. Netgear has just pushed everyone else on price.
