Whose at fault? (Car accident)

OK, on Sat. Night around 11:00 PM i was coming home from my friends house. I was turning from a side street onto a larger road. The intersection had a streetlight. I was given a green left-turn arrow, and proceeded to make my left turn onto the larger road. As I was completing my turn, I was hit by another driver who was running a red light on the passenger side, towards the back of the car. He hit me pretty much square on (front). Unfortunately, there were no witnesses who stopped at the scene. Neither of us had been drinking, and we were both alone. Whose at fault? I live in Texas, if that changes anything. Be interested to hear your opinions.

Hmmm, hard to prove who ran the red light. Especially with no witnesses.

What did the cops say?

They said that there needed to be witnesses to prove he ran the red light--and that they couldn't have been passangers in either of the cars (bias).

Is the guy admitting it? Because if he lies and says he didn't really run the light, it could be a tough case to prove...

he spoke little English (well I didnt think it was so bad, but he wanted the cops to come) a guy from Bosnia. He had already had a few wrecks on his old car, as the trunk was being tied down with bungee cords. All he kept saying over and over again was that I was going "15 meters - zoooom!" I wasn't really going that fast, just normal turn speed.

just make sure they know you were turning at a left turn light. you should have no problem. i was in a accident kinda like this a year and a half ago. the guy ran a stop sign, easy open and close case. :)
