Yesterday's Apple live event requires Apple's iDevice or HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) capable browser (Windows 10 Edge Browser) is the only time I use it.
I tried to watch on my HP Envy Windows 7. Saw the notice about Edge. Was a no-go for me.

I have tried using edge, but the video seems choppy on it sometimes. I dont know exactly why this is. Chrome seems to be better for video. There are some odd things about edge that are kind of bad. I found you can enable the Abode flash reader option, but it is turned off by default. I also found that Edge does not like to allow the user to go to full screen mode from an embedded YouTube video. In the settings this is an exception that is enabled at www.YouTube.com but nowhere else. Another problem is Windows 10 keeps turning off the wireless connection in any kind of sleep mode. I wish they had an option to maintain the wireless at all times. I did notice WIFI settings in the power management options.

Edge also looks a but unpolished for a windows product.

That's a good question. Perhaps it's that since Edge is very new, the implementation hasn't been reviewed yet to see if it meets the industry standard?

What I meant was what do they mean by "Industry Standard". Where is that chart from?

Adobe Flash being integrated into Chrome and Edge would make Flash "Industry Standard" as well, according to the author, I guess.
