When I used to live in LA, I always went to Hollywood, Glenside, Beverly Hills, etc. Saw these people so many times that the novelty wore off.

No one in particular :(

The closest I came to was in a crowd, and I saw Laura Fydgi.

Wayne Gretzky

There was a photoshoot w/ him and Messier when they were first united in NYC. My friends and I knew someone so we were part of it.

"The most famous person I've met was Mr. T"

i shared a limo with Mr.T once. We used the same limo service when I was in LA and I had to go to LAX. He was very cool about it, and I felt like I was really imposing (even though we both paid the same fees and such; it's hard not to feel like you are imposing on Mr. T when sharing a limo with him)

I played video games with Gary Coleman in Westwood Arcade. I guess he was the most famous entertainment guy I've ever met.

Also met a bunch of guys from alternative 80s music b/c i worked in a radio station at the time like vince clarke of erasure/depeche mode, etc.

Politically of course it's different totally. "Met" a lot of political people and honestly wouldn't do it unless I had to for business reasons.

Gary may be in the "infamous" catagory

Unfortunately Bill and Hillary Clinton, I met them in Hawai`i. I was in a High School Concert performence group (singers), and we performed for them at a fundraiser. Afterward, they came to our Prep room and spent a few minutes with us...I even gave Hillary a kiss....

I met Bill Buckner

I would find it impossible to have a conversation with that guy and NOT bring up the play.

Arnold Schwartzeneggar (sp?), Maria Shriver, and the kids came in on Thanksgiving day once

I could NOT meet him and not throw out a couple of his old one-liners!

"Arnold, you know when I said I would serve you last? I lied!"

"Let off some steam cappucino machine"

"Stick around"

kinda funny how you gave them freebies, its typical, the rich famous hollywood people get free stuff while Joe Blow has to pay 5 bucks for a cofee. hehe I'd probably do the same thing though.

Unfortunately Bill and Hillary Clinton

man, I relish the chance to meet them in public one day, I don't think it would be possible for me to do it without using the words "b*tch, liar, and disgrace."

Peter Jennings

"What's it like to be a high school dropout eh?"

Bruce Campbell

WORKSHED! I just read his autobiography, not a bad book.

I've met/hung out with REM on several occasions (have a family member who used to work with the band).

Had dinner/beer with Chris Cornell back when he was in Soundgarden. Got invited to a pre-show dinner on the "Badmotorfinger" tour as I was doing some work with a radio station, and he randomly sat down at the table my friend and I were sitting at. Nice guy...kinda quiet.

Met North Carolina governor James Hunt at a dinner for my wife's grandmother (was in NC house for 20+ years).

Met Greg Lemond and a few other pro cyclists back when the Olympics were in town in '96.

I used to race against Kevin Harvick (NASCAR Winston Cup driver), and Memo Gidley (Indy car driver). I've also met AJ Foyt, and Jeff Gordon. But when I met Jeff Gordon, he wasn't famous yet, just a teenage race car driver.
