ok seems to me from what i read about slk900u

"The heatsink is capable of supporting 70mm, 80mm and 92mm "

therefore the power choices are:

Delta 80mm Fan (EHE) (FG-004-DE)
- Speed - 5700RPM
- Output - 80.1CFM
- Decibels - 52.5dBA
- Dimensions - 80x80x38

Vantec TD9238H Tornado 92mm fan - Retail (FG-001-VT)
- Dimensions: 92x92x38mm
- Airflow: 119 CFM
- Power consumption: 12.5 W
- Noise Level: 56.4 dBA
- Speed: 4800 RPM
- 2 Ball Bearings
- 3 to 4 pin adapter and 4 fan screws included
- Chrome fan Guard included

and the modders choice probably being

ThermalTake Smart Case Fan II with "Coolmod" (FG-000-TH)

- Fan speed 1300 RPM at 20°C, 4800 RPM at 55°C
- 20.55 CFM at 1300 RPM, 75.7 CFM at 4800 RPM
- 17 dB at 1300 RPM, 48 dB at 4800 RPM
- Dimensions 80x80x25 mm

Out of these choices, im probably going for the 92mm vantec for performance purely for the amazing 119 cfm.

Does anyone have any other reccomendations or ideas?

thanks

I use the 92mm Tornado, and it works very well :) Although I hope you can handle the noise or have Rheobus ;)

I use the Vantec also and Vegetto is right, get a rheobus or some kind of speed controller....... the noise will kill you if you have to run it full speed all the time;)

BTW, I also had to put a brick in the bottom of my case...... when i started my pc the first time with the Vantec, it blew my case over..:Q
