hehe. No I don't play it at all, but I just figured that the game was more or less dead from day one. I mean it comes out and is good, and then at like the same time Unreal Tournament comes out and is 10x better, and Q3A sorta got forgotten. Didn't know it still had such a strong following

Last LAN party I was at, I was owned at UT but took the HLDM maps by an obscene landslide. Ph33r my gauss. Q3A? Been playing a lot recently, but my modem prevents me from being too competitive.

Put me on a LAN and you all die.

quake 2 blows big time.. i'm also not a huge fan of q3A, but the Weapons Factory mod for Q3 kicks total A$$. i can play it for hours on end and still want to play more.. check it out at www.captured.com/weaponsfactory

to each his own. i love the guns in quake2, wish quake3 had the same guns. i nominate bfg10k for one of the best if not the best around here, i admire him for being able to lay a smackdown on anarki in the hardest mode (i cant, maybe i have my fps is too low on that map...)
