Rogers i would say... they have GSM 850, which is awesome. Their pricing isn't the best, but they do have the best reception imo.

Fido has the best for pricing, both prepaid and postpaid. And if you live in Toronto, you can get FidoCity... which is transfer your home phone number (if you want) to Fido cell... and you get unlimited local calls at all time. People say service sucks, but they're all Rogers customers trying to justify why they're using Rogers imo. It's not as good as Rogers, but it's not bad. I've used Fido in Toronto plenty of times, and never had a single problem.

Telus has good coverage too, but if you roam into analog, you're going to be raped on the charges. And i suspect their billing system is a little crooked.

I don't have Bell, so i can't say. I would suggest Rogers... but like i said, their pricing isn't the best (but better than Bell)... and prepaid sucks... you can't change the number of rings before voicemail answers, and it costs $.33 to leave a message per min, AND $.33 to listen to a voicemail per min... so a single voicemail will cost about $1 to you. But having GSM850 is VERY sweet... i get reception in places i never get with Fido or Telus.

Rogers still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth from when they had the cable here. Nothing but problems (thank you shaw!). But that was cable and that was a long time ago.

Telus blows the big one. Their customer service is pure crap. My phone is good, my coverage is good, but dealing with them is a royal pain. 2 more years left... :(

I would try Bell next myself, but I have no experience.

Yeah, i'm not too happy with Rogers over all... their pricing blows, and i'm sick of 'Melanie' when you *611. But they have GSM850, so i'm sticking with them for the moment. If Fido gets GSM850, i'll dump rogers in a sec and get back to Fido (not to mention i love my Fido number).
