Anyone read that book? the movie comes out at the end of this month. i hear its supposed to be pretty good. has anyone seen the trailer and wants to see it?
 
I read it 4 years ago and am looking forward to the movie. When i fist heard it was being made into a movie i didn't think it could translate well into film, but the trailer looks pretty good.
 
i thought the same thing. i read the book a few months ago, and as i read it, for some reason i thought to myself it should be made into a movie, even though i didnt see the book as being deep on the same level as fight club. hopefully the director clark gregg can pull something out of his brown eye for this one.
 
Awesome book. I'm reading "Survivor" by Palahniuk right now. Trailer looks pretty accurate, so it might be good.

i'd never heard of Clark Gregg until this movie, so hopefully he does a good job. i should imdb him and see what else he has done. initially i was hoping/assuming it would be the same tone/style as fight club. but then i thought, just because the author is the same, doesnt mean the movie will turn out the same, but i hear its supposed to be good in a unique way.
 
Early reviews on the movie are not great. Pretty much everyone describes it as trying too hard and coming up missing the point.

I really hope it is good. When Running With Scissors was made into a movie it was a complete disappointment to me.

I hope Choke doesn't do the same. Although, Choke is not my favorite Chuck book. That title goes to Invisible Monsters. 😀

 
Oh cool, I loved the book. Didn't realize they were making a movie, or maybe I just forgot.

Looks like a first time director. Hope they don't butcher it.
