Sandra says I am running at 70C and my mother board says 35C. I am running a P4 2.4Ghz @ 2.88 with stock fan, etc.

I'd say Sandra more based on the fact that your CPU is overclocked using stock HSF.
A bit too crispy for my taste. Could be a good idea to get better HSF.
