is a 15 lcd same as a 15 crt? or 17lcd vs 17crt.
which has more screen space? ...really. or is it just an illusion that a flatscreen lcd seem to look
larger compared to a crt.

would u take a 19crt or a 17lcd?

17" CRT is at most 16" viewable, while 17" LCD is a true 17" screen.

my 19" CRT is 18" viewable, so the difference is only 1" in diagonal compared to 17" LCD.

i have been looking at these too, so the answer: i haven't decided yet, maybe 17" LCD if i can find one ~$250. on the other hand, if i can find a good flat 19" CRT for $150, i might take that.

I like my 17" Hyundai ImageQuest L70S... Koreans kick serious arse in the LCD monitor biz.

I recently got my Samsung 191T+ and man do I love it! It's a 19" LCD, switching over from a 5 year olf 17" CRT. The 3 inch viewing angle makes a HHUUGGEE difference. I could not be happier. There is however some ghosting, but now a days I hardly game on PC anyways so it's no matter to me. It's bright and I am in love with it ... definitely worth the hard earned money :)
