This feature used to be on the forum's home page. I went to check to see if someone was logged on, but I can't seem to find the feature? Is it still available and, if so, where is it?

I think they got rid of that feature. You could always add said person to your "buddy" list and that will show if they are on/off line.

Thanks, CheapArse, for the reply. Too bad they got rid of it - it was a nice feature.

I'd like a feature that let me hide my online status like nearly every other forum package has.

It sucks resources and really is not that "usefull" when there are 800-1000 people online. Sifting through all that is not intuitive, and knowing that there are 30 people in a category is cool but not necessary.. Basically the way it works is it inserts records for you and tracks where you are, takes space and is contentious as far as the database go.
