man, i just saw the trailer for Final Fantasy and there's only one word to sum it up: UNBELIEVABLE. it's just so awesome, that i don't think i can wait 'til summer 2001 when it comes out! so, who else is into this movie?

I hope it is good, hey speaking on ff series when do you think they will end it. Not that it is bad, but with 10 and 11 already in production this thing has to end somewhere. Only megaman seemed to last this long in games.

Is cid, biggs, and wedge in this movie. Seems like those names were in almost all the ff games I played.

i know for sure that one of the main characters is a chick. apparently the movie takes place in the future, and for the plot, err, i forgot.....

The FF series of games aren't based on any other game, and the movie is no different. You possibly wouldn't get any inside jokes or anything, if they have any in the movie, but beyond that, you'd get it just as much as anyone else.

Current estimates say $130 million, so you're pretty close Their distributor (Disney I THINK, not sure) says they most likely won't make money off the movie.

I'm not a big fan of the series, since there are better RPG's out there (Fallout, ), but the movie looks damn good and has quite a few big name actors lending their voices. I may have to go see this one.

you kidding nEoTeChMaN? toy story will never even come close to stacking up against FF. FF is so realistic looking, even though as you all know it's animated and unlike toy story, it actually have texture. oh, the physics are just flawless!
