Whos heard the new alice in chains live cd?

Sadly it seems we are never gonna get any new material from AIC with Mr.Staley's drug addiction the way it is.




I must say though they sure milked the hell out of the old stuff though


Since their last album with any new material on it we have had a box set,a greatest hits, and now a live album

Actually Alice in Chains is coming out with a brand new album. It has everybody from the original band except Lane. They are playing the first single on the radio. It's really good!

It's not really AIC if Lane isn't singing.



It would be one thing if they replaced Cantrell or anyone else in the band but when you change the lead singer,especially a lead singer with such a distinctive sound,you can't try to pass it off as the same badn.

At least do what the former members of Rage Against The Machine were gonna do with Chris Cornell and take on a new name.
Of course now the new RATM/Cornell project has now been scraped anyway

cantrell?!? he was doing most of the singing anyway!

and the live cd was released a long time ago

Was it Cantrell that sang lead on the original release of Got Me Wrong? That's a good tune, but when Staley sang it on the live album it turned into an annoying one.

that isn't an AIC album, it is a Cantrell solo album. Well the other band members might still be there, but they aren't under the name AIC.
