They any good? What's your favorite flavor? I've seen them at fairs and baseball games, but never had it myself....

Never heard of them.

Papa John's Cinapie is decent, assuming you eat it fresh when it's still warm.

Saw Dippin Dot stands all over the place yesterday at Magic Mountain. I try them once at concert. They are okay. I'm kind of lactose intolerant. But it didn't have any affect on me. It was okay. It pretty good gimick. Lots of people were buying them at Magic Mountain.

Hopefully now they will go down in price.

Heh, I had them once @ Inner Harbor in Baltimore. They're OK... but not worth the premium over regular ice cream. ( My cafeteria had the dots for $2.50, and a huge swirl of ice cream for $1)

I doubt McDs bought them out . . . just the right to sell them. The inventor is an ex-NASA geek (damn that's redundant). A friend of mine knew him back in the day. When my friend heard about his idea he thought it was totally lame. Now he buys it by the freezer load to sell at events.

We are talking the fast food restaurant, right? I was just there like 10 minutes ago and the lady looked at me like I was smoking crack when I inquired about them.
