Hi. I'm shopping around for a new laptop for my mom, who's looking to spend no more than $1300 and requires good tech support from time to time. You know, knowledgable techs who are polite and enunciate and don't have so thick of a foreign accent that you can't understand them. I've seen around here that favorite major brands include IBM and business-class Toshibas and HPs; how's the tech support for any of these companies? Are there any other praiseworthy manufacturers that I should consider?
