I benched my floppy long before he did I'm sure

Heck I even did the write test.

I posted my floppy hdtach bench as a joke in one of the threads asking for HDTach hard drive benchmarks.

What about Zip drives? I was shocked by the performance of my 100MB MutantFloppy drive.
