Is it really coincidence that the AVN Expo is always in Vegas at the same time as CES?
Don't Google AVN Expo from work, if you don't immediately know what it is.
Wikipedia, which should be banned at work because it supports an un-biblical spherical earth, is the adult video news expo...
So it's more of a P&N forum thing.
I support keeping children out, as video news is an adult affair and most children would just get in the way... like at E3.
First statement:
Facetious self effacing comment used to elevate a simple disagreement to the level of back handed insult, done by juxtaposing the point put forth by the original poster with my being a complete idiot and seeing the flaw in his statement.
Second statement:
Used to as a middle ground between the first and second statements, offering both foreshadowing of the joke to follow and a potential mellowing of the insult that came before it.
Third statment:
A gross misunderstanding of the general topic. This is mean to offer a second misunderstanding, something that offers a second level of humorous intent. In this statement I again insult myself, but this time it is meant to look as though I am doing so somewhat inadvertently. While this may be confusing at first I feel that the persona that would come up with the third statement is firmly based in the 'naive' point of view offer in the first, clearly ridiculous statement. This means that the speaker in the third statement is the same as that of the first. Despite this the speaker in the third statement IS meant to be understood on some level to think of himself as different than the speaker in the first statement.
So, to clarify:
PG1: Speaker is being self-effacing and there by betraying an indirect insult intended by the writer.
PG2: Foreshadowing paragraph.
PG3: Speaker is no longer joking but inadvertently insults himself further. Mellowing insult in paragraph 1.
Overall: Writer intends friendly banter with CT who he very much respects on an intellectual level and feels that there are some other readers who may also find multiple levels of irony in a single post to be entertaining, though this is clearly not the humor that everyone enjoys.
Cliffs:
I was being funny.
