Who's getting King Arthur 2?

Added to wish list. Damn, I now have more games on steam wish list than I did before the sale.

I liked the first King Arthur but I didn't play it much because of some crashing bugs. If this is like that one but not buggy I'd love it. The idea of an RTS + RPG is cool.

I got a coupon for 25% off Paradox games on Steam that I was hoping to use on Crusader Kings 2, but forgot they only apply to games released before Jan 2nd. I was thinking of getting the first King Arthur. Looks pretty cool. Worth it for $15 for the vanilla game, or is the full collection for $30 a better buy? Is there a point in getting the expansions if I just want to try the game out? I probably won't have time to play the game a whole lot..

I bought the first one months ago with high intentions on playing it. Then SS3 came out, then the holiday sales. I recently uninstalled it off of Steam to give me some room to install Batman AC and Deus Ex:HR. I'm going to get to it eventually, I promise 🙂

The first one is a lot of fun; but not sure of the current state. There was a recent patch but no clue if it made it better or worse with regards to crash. I woudl pick up the whole package but not for $30. It is frequently on sale for (I think) around $10. Just wait till the next sale - unless you want to play it right away that is and use your coupon. I would google a bit and see if the 1.07 patch made things better or worse.

I enjoyed the first one quite a bit and bought all the expansions and stuff. But do to a monster backlog and plenty of games similar to that in said backlog I will have to wait till it is on sale to pick it up. I am glad though they did make another though and hope it does well too.

I really liked it. Its a combo of Total War games with 'choose your own adventure' rpg elements inserted, and set in a fantasy world. I never had any technical issues (although I understand they were common. I had never hear of neocore, and was pleasantly surprised by the polish and quality of the 1st King Arthur. I would recommend it.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I've considered waiting for a sale. The coupon is only good till March, but not a big deal if I lose it though. Do they work on sale items too by the way? With the sequel coming up there might be sale on the original soon..

I was just wondering it the expansions add any systems etc to the base game (ala Civ 4, EU3), or are they just new campaigns?
