Who's getting a flu shot this year?

Are you going to get a flu shot this year?

I got one last year and I didn't get the flu but have not had it for every year before that and sometimes I get the flu, sometimes I don't.

I'm not sure if it's worth it really but for $23 it's not that expensive...

What is everyone else doing this year?

Planning on it. Never gotten one before, but with Asthma and my lung collapse experience last January, I want to take every possible precaution, lol. I might even spend the extra $40 for the pneumonia shot.

I got a "Flu Mist". Its a spray they put up your nose.. It wasn't bad, but I would have rather had the shot.

Got mine a couple weeks ago... wife got her's last night.

I don't know if they help or not... I get one just so my wife quits nagging me about getting one ... and it's covered by insurance, so there's no, (direct) out of pocket cost.

i am. one year i didn't because supply was short (even though i was still eligible) and i got the flu. i have close contact with a lot of people so i'm at risk.

yes. we had enough interest so they are administering them at the office this year some time in November.

Two people I worked with got sick enough that they had to go to the hospital after getting flu shots a few years back. I know thats not the norm, but I will stick to vitamin C.
