I might..if I can actually get one at retail. Currently using a 290x, but I'm on a freesync 1440 144hz monitor. It seems counter productive, but this card would really mainly be for pushing VR.

Nothing really, but it is lower bandwidth, so it's days seem to be numbered.

Yeah I realize it's on it's way out but it still works fine for 1440p 60hz.. Since i'm running a dvi kvm switch it's a bit tougher to just change interfaces.

Yep. I laid out a ton of money for a DP KVM. It's crazy how much they cost.

Just ordered Asus Strix OC, supposedly will be here in two work days. I wonder what does that mean in my reseller parlance, Friday or Monday LOL.

I might be getting one. Been waiting for evga site to have the preorders back in stock. I don't know where else you can order a ti ftw edition. I'm not getting another monitor and it should last me a while.

The only reason I may buy another gpu right now is because I keep coming into these forums lol.

I'm in Europe, they are pricey as hell, but in still in stock.
Also still hoping for delivery tommorow :)

interesting, i haven't seen the ASUS 1080TIs AIBs on sale anywhere yet

EVGAs went up for preorder this week, and MSI has 1 out, but no one else

You won't get good quality after market Vega's instantly either :) Not generally how it works for the obvious reasons.

Got my Asus Strix OC on Friday. It's huge and heavy, looks seriously ready to remove heat from GP102.

OC has been a breeze so far, put 138 on core, 250 on mem in afterburner and card will happily run 2050-2080 clocks. It heats up to ~72C after long gaming in 3 fan Fractal Define R4, but is more silent than MSI Gaming 980 ti ( heck, it is way more massive, no wonder).

Cons so far: LEDs are turned on by default??? Has tiny bit of coil whine once over 200 FPS, MSI was more solid in this department, would not whine even in menus with several hundred FPS.

I picked up an EVGA Reference 1080Ti at Microcenter because I've got a plan for my 980Ti in another system. It turbo clocks up around 1850MHz, which is way higher than they claim. It's definitely a strong performer.

So frustrated right now with not having a DVI output. My second monitor supports both DP/DVI, but for some reason DP has never worked on it consistently. It has this odd glitch where the screen becomes vertically interlaced and if I unplug it the entire computer freezes. Had the same issue dating back to the 780 Ti and I believe 7970Ghz. The DP -> DVI converter in the box is only single link so at most I get 1280x720. May have to go AIB and sell my FE to get around this issue.

I've got a dvi to hmdi adapter that worked for my when I had my 7970ghz but that's when I only had a 1080p screen.

I have no problem with my 3rd monitor which only has DVI/HDMI or home theater which both do 1080p. At one point on my 1070 FTW, I had all 5 outputs going at the same time.

They're slowly becoming available. MSI's came out last week, Asus came out today and Gigabyte is supposed to be coming out this week. EVGA is the one coming out late. Of course, finding any of them in stock is the bigger issue.

Are you guys using that tracker to let you know when they are available? I forget the name but texts stopped working for me at one point.
