Who's bought a TouchPad so far?

This. I ordered one from Best Buy this morning and even though the order is in processing status, my card has been charged, and I can no longer cancel the order, I won't believe it until I receive it.
 
I grabbed one from BestBuy this morning that looks like it's actually going to ship. Not sure whether I'm keeping it or not, but figured it was better to buy now and decide later.
 
Ordered a 32GB from HP EPP (legit code for my employer) on Friday.
Still says processing, so we'll see what happens. Looking forward to playing with WebOS.
 
Found one at walmart yesterday. I would have gotten two, but they only had one 16 gb and for some reason the 32 gb models were ringing up at the old price. I signed up to the email notification on hps website to maybe snag another before it's all said and done.

Got 3 from HPA and 2 from B&H on the way (before anyone asks I'm NOT reselling). Best part was I never had to leave my room (or pay above $99/$150)
 
Got my second and final confirmation email from HP. So I'm good and set. Two 16gb, one 32gb, and stack of copy paper all for $317 shipped. None are for resale.

I was pleasantly surprised how cheap iPad was when it was first released. $500 seemed like a bargain. Same for iPad 2. I thought Transformer was a good deal at $400. Same for Nook Color at $250. Now I feel all are horribly overpriced and not worth the money. 😀

I don't think that was the issue. It was more that at $500+ they were selling at back then, they weren't useful enough for many people to justify the cost. At ~$200-300 they are about at fair value for 10" tablet. At $100, they are a steal. That's cheaper than a 10" 1024x768 digital photo frame would go for.
 
Ordered 2 from HP, but won't consider it "bought" until they're in my hands. The pessimist in me says they'll never show up.

Think positively. Until I get an email from BB, I am assuming I'll get my order esp. since they've charged my card and won't allow me to cancel the order on their site. These are good signs, I think (and hope).
 
It's been stated that they took a $100 million hit on the TouchPads, but I think that's the figure for the hardware alone, not including Marketing, R&D, or software

i dont really feel bad for them. they bought palm and apparently didnt put enough resources into webos to make it really what it should be *Shrug*

ill keep an eye out to see if i can snag a couple for 99 each, theyd make good gifts for the kids for christmas. bb here didnt have any and says theyre done. everyone else is out online, and i dont want one bad enough to go back to town and check every B&M shop
 
Me and a friend picked up 2 yesterday from MC. He is pissed that his Touchstone stopped working though. Mines is OK for the moment.

I still feel that way, even though I bought one. I feel that way, because of the normal asking price, you get too little for the price you're paying.

For 91 bucks, this to me is a better option than a cheap laptop for couch surfing.
