Who's Best at Chess? For Now, It's Neither Man Nor Machine...

I don't know anything about professional chess, but is it normal to play 6 games? I mean isn't that kinda asking for a tie?

i hate that book

i man playing "not to lose" the (6 or 7 or hwatever number they're using now) computers dedicated to beating him at chess really isn't that bad. i sitll think it's quite impressive

Played perfectly on both sides, chess is bound to end in a draw. The computers are starting to win more games nowadays, didn't big blue from IBM beat Kasparov a while back ? With humans it's only a matter of time before a mistake is drawn out of them. 😛

Yeah, Deep Blue beat Kasparov in '96.

He was ahead in the match too, offered the comp a draw.

He must of saw that his position was not set up well for the win, and that if he kept going he would of eventually lost.

He sure looked like he had the better position to me, but I am by no means a GM.
