Who's at work today? Am I the only one? ...

Decided to come in to work today. Nobody is here so its fun. Except the building management turned off the damn HVAC system! So its freaking stuffy and hot in here.

I'd go home, but I get to re-use the vacation time I'm not using today whenever I want 🙂
 
Yeah I'm in here collecting OT... whilst everyone else is out eating delicious meals consisting of copius quantities of meat...

Wow thats cool for those of you getting OT / Holiday pay. I just started my new job, so I have almost no vacation time ... and I'm going away for 10 days starting on Thursday. So I couldn't pass up a free 8 hours of vacation.
 
I'm here, alone. filling in at the call-center (not my normal job) for extra cash.

If its really slow, I'm leaving at 3.
 
I don't work today, as my regular days off happened to overlap Labor Day. I'll probably work Halloween, Thanksgiving, and just about every other holiday though, except Christmas - the only day of the year that Walmart's closed.

I can't complain though, the pay is good and I should be leaving early anyway.
 
not really at work but loyally fvcked cuz i got a paper due tomorrow, huge assignment due wednesday, big ass test next week and a lab report as a bonus, woohooo! 😀 well i finally started at least, hopefully i can finish the paper today...

Ive been following ATOT posts for about a year now, figured id go crazy and actually join today! Why not, im stuck at work here too like u guys. But hey, i make ok pay so i cant complain, cheers suckers! :beer:
 
I'm not and neither are the folks at NEWEGG. I placed an order THURSDAY night and it's STILL in "phase 1."

Dammit, it's all the stuff for my HTPC...If I'd have ordered it WED night, I'd have had the stuff and had it built already. Dammit!

I'm here after a late start because I forgot about stupid holiday busses. Argh, so I asked my boss if i could leave early 😉 late in, early out. Heh, I'm about the only person here on my 'team' anyways.

Yeah, but the prob w/sitting back and veggin' is that it soon becomes 9:00PM and time to start getting ready for bed...and you're not in the least bit tired. 🙁

I almost dislike 3-day weekends b/c of this. :roll: I'll start "waking up" at around 6:00PM or so...and it's all downhill from there.

I was up until 2:00AM this morning watching cheap karate flicks; you know, the DVDs you buy for $5/ea at BestBuy? 😀 Titles like "Butcher Wing" "Magnificent Flying Swan Kick" "Ninja Fist of Death" LOL!
