I have one of those big paper cutters with the big blade mounted to a platform, well, I put down my MD on it, and when I went to pick it up just now, I noticed a headphones wire was caught... in the blades. :Q After a quick, "oooh sh*t", I carefully removed the wire. Guess what? The conducters are intact! I managed to precisely sever the insulation on the outside without touching the fragile wires inside. WTF is up today.... ??

which md do you have? I'm looking at the sharp mt77 or the sony mzr900...although the r700 would suit my needs perfectly once it comes out.

I love my MZ-R37 portable recorder. It's not exactly a top-of-the-line model, but a lot of people like its style. I do as well.
