Unprofessional? We aren't professionals, we're home users using the utilities that come with our mainboards or other programs written for enthusiasts, and I personally am pointing out that the mainboard temperature monitoring circuit or chip itself is what's reading the wrong temperature, not just my unprofessional software.

www.xtremesystems.org/ won't load for me at the moment. Google's cache of it doesn't look like it'd be obvious where CorTemp would be available anyway, and I'm not about to spend time digging around for some random program that may or may not actually read any different and which I've never heard of before.

There are few on this forum more professional than the Lord E. I, for one, have thoroughly enjoyed his humorous approach in headlining such a far out temperature. Like I said way back there - it's always nice to find another wine cooler in the house. :)
