Hey, anyone know of good wholesale distributors? I'm looking to buy computer parts for very cheap, and preferrably not have to buy large quantities to get the good deal.

I know of one, supposedly: http://www.Tech Data.com

Heh, newegg.com is almost always cheaper (and usually MUCH cheaper - like 30% less!) than TechData, D&H, or Ingram Micro, and anyone can buy from newegg without having to deal with all the reseller crap and account info the wholesalers make you do. Plus you don't have to buy quantities of 100 or 1000 or more to get a decent price. And you'll find the wholesalers will not treat you well if you are a small-volume customer, they treat you like the pain in the ass that you are to them (no offense, I just mean they would rather not deal with low-volume customers). It's a cut-throat business.

I build and sell custom systems in small volume and I buy almost everything from newegg (except cases which I buy from a local shop that cuts me a special deal). It's just not worth the hassle of filling out trade and banking references to get an account with a wholesaler who charges more than many retailers.

I haven't ordered from Newegg, but my roommate has. He says that it owns.

I agree, Newegg!!!

Locally I priced my younger brothers new system, and also priced it on newegg. Newegg is about $200 bucks cheaper, plus I don't have to pay taxes (only shipping but that is far less then what I would pay in taxes if I bought the stuff locally).
