Whohoo! K7SEM for $29!!! Newegg ECS Referbs!

I ordered 3 of the K7SEM's as they use pc133 memory and have onboard video, perfect for a crunching machine. At only $29 they are a steal!

Shipping is free too 🙂

GONE! 🙁

But they do have these for only $33: ECS VIA KT266A Chipset ATX Motherboard Model K7VTA3 Version 2.0. 🙂

I have a few of these and they are tough to beat. Because the o/b Realtek lan is not actually o/b (comes as a slot cover with cable plugging in to the mobo) I wonder if it will fall in the "accessories not included" category?

BTW, they may be moderately particular about power, I have one with a duron 1000, fdd and hdd that demands 300w, random reboots with anything less.

He's in Canada?!? :Q 😀

Hmm.. now the question is can I get 3 of those K7S6A boards and 5 Duron 1.2 chips(since I've got a TigerMP here already) shipped AND assembled in less than 24 hours?? Umm.. probably not. 🙁

Oh well, it was a thought..

I just picked one up....if the "onboard" lan isn't included, I have a few NICs laying around....

I bought 3 of the k7sem's. I may not use them all, so I may be willing to part with one for what I paid for it. If interested, drop me a pm. I will have to test it first though 🙂 ( I only have 2 proc's at the moment 🙁 )

Sometimes they have biostar M7VKQ boards for 36.50. I bought two of these they are running 1gig durons at 1120. You can up the FSB 12% in Bios . There is no voltage or multiplier adjustment. Both boards are running the Durons at 1.85 volts witch is a little high. I am running them with cheap 250 watt power supplies. Video, sound and lan are truly on board. It is suposed to go up to XP200+ if you add a chipset fan. One of them is housed in a milkcrate. These things are perfect for a crackrack. I think you can buy them new for $50. I have never had problems with Biostar products, I think they make decent boards.

can somebody run 3dmark from madonion.com prefferably with something close to a XP1600. I have a 220 nvidia and wonder what the sis on board video numbers are.

Probably horrible. But I will be happy to run it when I get the boards. I have a 1600+ I was going to toss in anyway.

I ran it on the biostar, VIA chipset VT 8361, 128meg ram 8meg shared 4x , 1gig duron. A pathetic 252 vid mark I am playing Diablo 2 in 2D on a LAN OK though . This board has no AGP slot some of the SIS chipset boards do. 8meg is maximum I had the sound on. It did not crash through the benchmark.
