Eric Prydz fvcked up Steve Winwood's song "Valerie". You can't pull the hook out of somebody else's art and call it your own. That "sampling" BS is the most asinine pile of crap I've ever heard of. Would it kill people today to actually create their own music from scratch, or is that too much like work? Perhaps that would also require some actual talent.

Eric Prydz didnt fvck up a thing. He took an aged track and turned it into an awesome dance club beat ( went #1 in Europe and was driving the dance floors crazy) . I also dont agree that sampling is not creative. Take a look at DJ Danger Mouses " The Grey Album" where he laid Jay Z vocals over instrumentals from The Beatles, its a great example of how cool sampling can be. I do agree though that if everyone took part in sampling, then things could get pretty bland.
