Whoever keeps sending me these large, virus-ridden emails is gonna get a knee to the groin!

I'll kill 'em all if I find them!!!!:|:| I'm on 56k so I'm no speedy buzzard right now during the summer. I'm getting about 30 of these messages a day (that new worm virus that hit the Pentagon):

Hi! How are you?

I send you this file in order to have your advice

See you later. Thank

Why won't these dumbasses learn how to use virus protection so we won't have to deal with this crap?? There's no way for me to catch them until AFTER I have received them, so I am stuck having to download ALL of these large attachments while it neuters my bandwidth that I'm trying to put to other uses!:|:| I'll kill you all!! DIE, DIE!!

Does your ISP have webmail? Log in there, delete the offending messages, & then download the rest via your normal mail client.

Also, ISP's can delete mail for you. If a large e-mail is waiting that you know you don't want, have them delete it.

If your ISP doesn't have webmail, maybe you can catch your POP mail from Hotmail, it would be faster/easier for you :)

Configure your Mail Client to fetch only the subject and kill all those messages on the server...that's saving lots of time and bandwidth... ;)

with all these email viruses (which don't even deserve to
be called viruses) why don't people learn?

I've gotten that same email. You'd think they would be more creative about it. I knew immediately it was a virus attempt.

Just remember, if you do that, you're sending your POP password unencrypted across the internet for the world to see.
