Whoever came up with "BoohBah" must have dropped a serious amount of acid...

Most children's shows are kind of whacked out but BoohBah takes the cake. I can only conclude that the creator's (same people that came up with TeleTubbies) did a heavy amount of drugs at some point...possibly during the creation process.

I'm working from home today because wife is real sick and two-year old isn't well enough to go back to school yet and this came on after JayJay the JetPlane. My son apparently likes them but they were just too trippy for me. I had to switch over to the Wiggles and get him back interested into his puzzles and colors.

I don't let my kids watch it. My 3 year old has seen it a few times and loves it.

My son (just turned 4) used to ask to watch it. I had PBS on for him a while back (sometime last year) and it came on. I watched it for a few minutes and was like 'what the heck is this!!!???" Thankfully, I have turned him around and made a Scooby-Doo addict out of him :) ;)

I think he must have watched it at school or something during a rainy day. We never let him watch it at home either so that's the only place I can think of that he's seen it before.

It's supposed to be an exercise show for toddlers. But yes, it's like Teletubbies on even more acid.

My kids like it (5 and 2). Younger one has a BooBah thing that dances and plays music.

But yes, it is very tripped out. I'm impartial to is vs other shows, but I definitely thought TeleTubbies had more "value" education-wise.

1. Get together with some buddies from the 70's.
2. Light up a doobie.
3. Drop several tabs each.
4. Start thinking up ideas for kids tv shows.
5. Profit.
