Personally, I like Jay London. Although he's not the funniest, he's different and has some hilarious one-liners. I hope he at least makes it to the top 3.

PS Last Comic Standing is a tv show on NBC where stand-up comics compete to be the funniest. Watch it!
 
I think Alonzo was the best, closely followed by Gary. John has been my favorite up to this point, but wasn't into his act as much tonight as usual, so I'd put him 3rd. The other 3 weren't really all that impressive, so hard to really say which is better out of them.
 
All 6 are great comics... Jay is a bit different, but I have grown to like his style, and he has improved noticeably over the course of the show.
 
Meh.. I went for Kathleen as my top, she recycled her old material (from her previous CC experience & CD), but she's still funny as hell. She did leave out the best line, though...

"And I dunno what's up with these teenagers, everything you do turns into a big drama pageant."

Mom: Would you take out the trash?
Daughter: Why does everyone around here think I'm fat?
<Deleted line>Mom: Nobody mentioned anything about that, chubs, now take the garbage out...

Jay is kinda like a joke book. He has no "act" per se, he just strings together a bunch of one-liners. Funny, but not really a comic. More like a clown. If I hear him say "How do you like my overall outfit?" one more time I'm going to kick him in the face.

Gary was mostly annoying, spending his ENTIRE FREAKING TIME talking about elementary school, milk and cookies. Who gives a rat's rump? Sheesh. I almost cried he was so boring...

John was pretty dang funny, though he didn't get the laughs he deserved.

Never liked Tammy, never thought she was funny, still don't.

Alonzo's an all around hilarious guy. Proved it at the roast, continues to do so.

I can't stay Jay... he does the same thing during every performance -- jokes about his size, followed by barely-funny one-liners.

the best three, IMO, are Kathleen, John, and Alonzo.

I normally like John, but if I have to judge on this performance only, I'd say he was a little hit and miss last night. But he is a great comedian.
 
I'd vote for:

1. Last comic standing is not funny at all. Watered down jokes and fit only for the Jay Leno crowd.
2. As with all 'Reality' shows this summer, Last Comic Standing SUCKS!
3. This thread Sucks!
 
Ha I watched that one UPN show with the Amish people who aren't being so Amish anymore... I was shocked, I was actually interested in it for a few minutes.. It was that or Blue Collar TV, which I was SORELY disappointed in.

Kathleen was the only person who didn't really make me laugh. Tammy was funny but I've seen her on Comedy Central and she's using her old jokes, so it wasn't too funny.
I think it's a toss up between the guys. I'd like to see Jay win just for the hell of it, though 🙂
 
I dropped two votes for Jay &amp; one for John. As long as Tammy isn't in the finals I'll be satisfied (although Todd Glass should have won the head-to-head with her way back when).

I voted for Alonzo. He's by far the funniest guy there, followed by Kathleen and James. I used to think that nobody got Jay because you have to think about his jokes. I've come to realize that you spend time trying to figure out what he said, and then you have to decide if you laugh out of pity or don't laugh, because the guy will commit suicide on stage if you do.
 
I was glad to see Tammy go. Sad to see Kathleen go (she never got enough exposure during the show since no-one challenged her, her set last night was weak also.)

I think Alonzo will take it all now.
 
was Jay that hairy troglodyte guy? I thought he was funny but he went to the "am I going too fast for you" bucket a few too many times.

Yep, thats Jay. Took me awhile to appreciate his humor, but I like him now. My favorite joke of his:

"I'm so lonely on New Years eve I watched my own balls drop."
