I stepped on a bumble bee with nothing but socks on...amazingly I didn't get stung. Pretty damn lucky. Is it just me or are there a huge number of bees around this year? :Q
I walked into my car one night as I was heading towards home from school, and noticed a bee clinging onto my windshield. I decided to let the lonely bumble bee take a ride with me until he/she decides to leave. The bumble bee was clinging on for several miles with my car going 80 mph. Halfway home, it finally let go.
Well it was still alive after I stepped on it...I didn't even see what I had stepped on at first. I felt something stuck to my sock wriggling around so I kicked and it went flying onto the floor. I then took a shoe and smashed it.
When I was a little kid I stepped on one as well...and lemme tell you it wasn't such a pleasant experience. Their stinger freaking stick into you(with the bee still attached) and they don't come out.
