Whoa...

I'm simultaneously making a mix in Nero and playing a playlist in Winamp... the song starts in Winamp (Journey to the West, from the Mononoke Hime soundtrack), and about seven and a half seconds later, I accidentally started previewing a song in Nero (Freedom/The Execution/Bannockburn from the Braveheart soundtrack)... they started mixing and... it was amazing. The rhythms flowed, the melodies combined and separated, each song brought out qualities in the other that I'd never heard.

Anyone ever had an experience like this? Two songs that you would have never thought of combining, end up sounding breathtaking when mixed?

But that means combining them, effort and suchlike. 😛

Not much effort... use a cheap program like goldwave and you can easily combine them in less than 5 minutes...
