Whoa, way to go Amazon.com. -4 Day delivery time!

So I placed an order on Monday for a book and a CD. I opted for free shipping, because if I can save $5, why not do it, right? Anyway, it says that it will ship out on the 17th. Fine.

So today I walk outside to go to the bank, and while opening the door, shoot a box across the porch and into the yard. What is it?

My Amazon.com package. It took it -4 days to get here, and the shipping was free.

I get the free shipping packages from Amazon in as little as 2 days here in south eastern PA, I think its because they have a shipping center in Delaware?

I usually get 2 day delivery from SVC via us postal. But I live pretty close (20 miles or so).

Drugstore.com shipments get to me in one day. I use the free ground shipping, but the distribution center is in New Jersey and I live near NYC.

I ordered some CDRs from buy.com - used free shipping - arrived after 2 days by UPS

Then I ordered a CD from buy.com - used free shipping - still hasn't arrived after 7 days by USPS 🙁
