Go to personal settings and change the AT color scheme to dark (not black), then go back to the forums.

been with that theme since i joined. The annoying thing is that most of the icons end up having white borders around them. You used to be able to choose dark background icons which hid the problem... not sure where that option went or why it doesnt work anymore.

but the dark colors are so much easier on the eyes.
 
I just realized that I could change the colors 😕

I tried a bunch of them out, but found the default "cool" setting that I originally had to be the best.
