It comes out in the of the lost episodes, Darth gets really drunk at a part on obicron 6. It's all that little green Yoda's fault. He figured Darth was too stiff, so he got him boozed up and kept yelling "Party on Darth". Varder did'nt find out of the kids until a couple of years later, but by then he had a career with the Dark side and she was on the other side of the galaxy.
